児童・思春期グループセラピーにおけるセラピストの基本姿勢について先行研究を概観し，筆者らの実践での知見を踏まえて考察を行った。これまでに議論されてきた，セラピストとしての姿勢，態度，パーソナリティ特性に加え，子どもの愛着を育てる関わりが，子どもの成長を促進すると考え，メンタライゼーション理論を土台とし，メンタライジング・スタンスの意義を紹介した。グループ実践においては，こうしたセラピストとしての基本姿勢を維持することが困難なケースがあるが，その特徴的なパターンを事例で示し，検討した。また，愛着の課題を克服していく際のメンタライジング・スタンスや関連した姿勢の意義について検討した。セラピストは率直な存在感を示しながら，安心感や楽しみのある雰囲気をベースにして，自然な形で愛着の課題を克服することを助け，発達を促進していくことを目指すグループプロセスを論じた。 In this paper, therapist’s basic stances in group therapy for children and adolescents were overviewed and discussed based on the authors’ clinical experiences. We first discussed current researches which revealed some stances, attitudes, and personality traits of therapist. In addition, therapist’s stance which promote attachment is thought to be the key element to facilitate children’s and adolescents’ psychological growth, and the significance of mentalizing stance was introduced. Several cases were illustrated and discussed where maintaining basic attitude as a therapist is quite difficult. In addition, the significance of mentalizing stance and related stances when overcoming difficulty in attachment was discussed. Lastly, some group processes were proposed for group therapist with a genuine presence to help children and adolescents overcome difficulty in attachment in a natural way and promote development based on a secure and playful atmosphere.

和文要旨：活動集団療法においては，発達障害や対人関係上のトラブルといった問題視されることが少ない「普通の」子どもであっても，グループでの遊びを通して自身の課題やなんらかの困難さが浮き彫りとなり，内面を掘り下げることが可能になる。それは問題解決や心理教育を目的としたグループでは見られない，活動集団療法独自の意義であると考える。筆者らが取り組んでいる活動集団療法における，あるメンバーの変化過程を通して，活動集団療法の可能性を考察した。一見普通に見える子どもであっても，感情のコントロールや，「甘え」のあり様においては，彼らなりの苦しみがありうるのであり，そうした子どもたちへの介入の方針を考察した。
This study aims to reveal the possibility of Activity Group Therapy which we have conducted by considering the psychological changes that were observed in one of the members. In Activity Group Therapy, some children considered to be “psychologically normal” reveal their psychological problems and work on their inner growth through playing in the group. This seems a unique feature of the Activity Group Therapy, not seen in the group that are “problem solving oriented group” or “psychological education oriented group”. Thus, in this paper, children’s psychological development can be promoted by “Amae (an attempting of a person to make an authority people, like parents, therapists, teachers or supervisor, take care of him/her) experience” and peer relationship in the group is suggested. Also, in this paper, it is suggested that children who seem to be “psychologically normal” sometimes have serious problems in affect regulation, and it is possible that Activity Group Therapy can offer the opportunity to develop psychologically for “normal” children who have difficulties in their affect regulation.

Two therapy groups for maladapted junior high students were conducted; most of the participants (14 in total) showed improvement in adaptation at school. As therapeutic evolution in groups, a process was identified, wherein shapeless emotions in person bring about interpersonal events (enactment of interpersonal trauma), of which understanding deepens relatedness with each other, leading to actions in their daily life. Methods of adolescent group therapy were reviewed and reorganized, such as structure of group, therapeutic activities, basic skills, therapist’s attitudes, and interventions that are appropriate to developmental stages of group. Furthermore, analysis of trainees (1 school teacher and 3 counselors) shows that training with group enhanced a sense of emotional closeness with participants and raised confidence in flexibility of interaction.
