     View Summary

This study examines the impacts of Community Based Tourism (CBT) on social capital in two communities which practice Individual CBT and Coordinated CBT within the category of Autonomous CBT. Semi-structured and unstructured interviews were conducted in two communities located on the coastline in Northeast region of Brazil. The study revealed that CBT had different impacts on each community in terms of local relationship and the characteristic of the locals who foster social capital actively. The results also suggested that CBT association influenced the perception of local relationship and the birth of local leaders.

     View Summary

An expedition to the highest peak of the Kemul Massif located a number of different Nepenthes taxa, including the type populations of N. fusca and N. mollis, neither of which have been observed in situ since they were first collected in 1925. Studies of the type form of N. fusca show that two further species should be considered, one largely restricted to Sabah’s Crocker range—here reinstated as N. zakriana—the second a southerly distributed species from Brunei, Sarawak and Kalimantan, named here as N. dactylifera. Analysis of the type population of N. mollis indicates that N. hurrelliana is a hetero-typic synonym of N. mollis, and reveals an additional undescribed Nepenthes species from Sarawak and Kalimantan with a widespread but highly localised range.

    2024

     View Summary

(A. beccariana、A. malaccensis、A. microcarpa)のサンプルを収集して葉の乾燥標本を作成した。
