森本洋太 ハーグ王立音楽院ソノロジー研究所修士、英国バーミンガム大学作曲博士。 2006年に渡蘭、欧州を中心に活動。室内楽作品が各地のアンサンブルにより委嘱・演奏されている他、 ハーグ市立美術館、Transmediale（Berlin）、ISEA（Dortmund, Istanbul）、WeSA（Seoul）などで作品を発表。 この他、アムステルダム映像博物館、資生堂、本田技術研究所、NTTコミュニケーション科学基礎研究所、 産業技術総合研究所などに楽曲や音響生成システムを提供。

近年では公共空間の音環境デザインに取組み、「シンガポール空港のための音楽」や国際花博Floriade2022の音楽を発表する。 2023年よりハーグ王立音楽院客員教授。2024年より早稲田大学表現工学科准教授。

    The collective, calmspaces, sets out to create spaces for relaxation and contemplation through traditional architectural approach combined with modern digital technology. The ongoing project of the collective, breathing space (ademruimte in Dutch), uses unobtrusive sensing technology to monitor one’s breathing, and through designed light and sonic guides, the project tries to enhance the breathing exercise beneficial to regulating one’s emotion. The paper illustrates the project and its relevance to and potential for in-vehicle development. We then discuss the details of our implementations, along with video documentations of the early prototype, and a recently completed installation work.

    '(re)pre/sent' is a piece for flute and live electronics. And this will be realized using two computers: one runs Max/MSP and the others jMax-DIPS (Digital Image Processing with Sound). In this paper, I present how I made possible the interactions between audio and visual, using some practical examples.

    ４月２５日発行の共著「音楽制作 - プログラミング・数理・アート -」（コロナ社）において、音楽を音響と峻別することなく、作曲の行為に取り込む視座を提示した。客員教授を務めるソノロジー研究所のリソースを活用し、この新たな作曲的視座の実践的展開として、調査研究、実験および応用的な制作を行った。また外部資金獲得に向けて、制作上／技術上の課題を洗い出し調査研究した。受け入れ機関のオランダ王立音楽院ソノロジー研究所（https://sonology.org/）は、空間音響に関する設備面においても、作品制作のためのシステム構築のノウハウも世界屈指であり、当機関が受け入れに全面協力し、設備使用から、調査研究のアドバイスまでを提供する貴重な機会となった。研究調査の成果a. 嗅覚のアーティスト上田麻希と協働し、夜の熱帯植物園のバイオームを舞台に「共生」をテーマとした体験型インスタレーション作品「匂う森」を制作発表。b. 論文「音はどこで生成されるのか - ポスト・デジタル時代の素材・空間・プロセス」執筆（３月末採択可否）c. 蘭Stroom財団助成により「音学」単著執筆（４月発売予定）d. ブランド　Clé de Peau Beauté　映像サウンドトラック作曲e.「音楽論」音楽という問いと実践（社会人講座）全８回を担当f. 蘭王立芸術学院にてサウンドデザイン・ワークショップ開催

    ４月より新規嘱任を受け、これから本研究室においてインターメディア音楽研究教育をすすめる上で、高臨場感音響に対応したフレキシブルな音響システムが必要と考える。このようなシステムはハードウェア、ソフトウェアを含めた大掛かりなものになるため、外部資金獲得に向けて、どの規模や空間音響技術が相応しいのか、制作上の制約と構築費用のトレードオフを含め調査研究する目的。受け入れ機関のオランダ王立音楽院ソノロジー研究所（https://sonology.org/）は、空間音響に関する設備面においても、作品制作のためのシステム構築のノウハウも世界屈指であり、当機関が受け入れに全面協力し、調査研究を実施した。研究調査の成果a.SuperCollider音響合成環境による、高臨場感音響に対応したフレキシブルな音響システムの構築b. aを応用した作品を制作（米国Cincinnati Ballet Academyにて11/16発表）c. aを応用した作品を制作 （バルセロナ、oscura gatesにて9/28発表）d. aを応用し教育研究のためのワークショップを開催（蘭ソノロジー研究所にて9/2-9/6）e. aを応用した作品を制作（パリ、パラ五輪関連プロジェクトとして8/26発表）f. aの関連共著論文を国際会議 IEEE EMBC 2024で発表（7/15-7/19）
