    明治日本の国語施策および漢学教育改革と関連する法令を検討し、「国家政策レベル」から明治日本がめざした近代文明の言語論的な側面を描き上げた。その研究成果を「How did Meiji Japan eliminate “Kan” from a perspective of language policy」という題目で2023年9月にオーストラリアのシドニー大学で開催されたBiennial Conference of the Japanese Studies Associationで発表した。
