    Taking as a starting point a series of seminal works on the so-called Slavic literary micro-languages whose theory has been advanced by Dulichenko (1981), this project has investigated the dynamics of the Slavic literary micro-languages particularly after the political changes in Eastern Europe of the last almost three decades. The project has also made use of various modern sociolinguistic theories in order to place the specific features of the Slavic literary micro-languages in a broader context. The main achievements are found in the fact that this project has: 1. discovered and analyzed various new micro-languages, such as Bunyev, Podlachian, Gorani, etc., in part based on detailed field works; 2. updated dynamics of the languages, such as Banat Bulgarian, Silesian, Kashubian, etc.; 3. developed international collaboration with distinguished scholars, having organized three international symposia in Japan that resulted in various publications, including co-authored articles

    我々の科研課題遂行の第１年目にあたる2013年度は、東京（2013年6月1日）と札幌（2014年3月30日）で計２回の共同研究会を開き、各自の研究課題の進捗状況を報告して、相互に情報交換と情報提供を図った。年度内に３名のメンバーをスロヴァキアに派遣して、現地の研究者との意見交換や学術的コンサルテーション、関係機関（大学、研究所、行政機関、民族団体本部など）の訪問、図書館や文書館での資料収集に従事した。長與（研究代表者）は2013年8月16日から31日までおもにブラチスラヴァに、神原ゆうこ（研究分担者）は9月2日から28日まで同じくブラチスラヴァに、中澤達哉（研究分担者）は2014年2月28日から3月6日までコマールノに滞在して、上述の課題を遂行した。その際中心になったのは、第２年度（2014年）9月にコマールノのシェイェ大学で開催を予定している国際ワークショップの準備作業である。年度末の3月に英文論文集 Transboundary Symbiosis over the Danube: EU integration between Slov

    Our project has contributed to scholarly investigations on East Asian Community in terms of the collection of historical materials on "Asianism" in postwar Japan, the promotion of mutual historical understandings between Japan and Korea, and the development of new methodologies for Asian Studies. The Construction of the database of Japan Socialist Party documents, the publication of three volume bulletins on "Historical Recognition in Japan and Korea," and three volume book series "Ajiagaku no susume (Introduction to Asian Studies)" are the examples of our accomplishments.

    Our research project, "A Synthetic Study on the History and Culture of Russians in Japan", was carried out over 4 years (2001-2004) by 12 members (one head investigator and 11 colleagues). The group study activities were realized within the framework of the Association for the Study of Russian in Japan and East Asia, which was established in 1995 and consists mainly of the same members as participated in the project. The Association held 20 regular conferences between 2001 and 2004,including two special conferences in Hakodate (in June 2002) and in Nagasaki (in September 2004). Based on these regular activities, we published in March, 2003,"Russia and Japan", Vol.5,and in March,2005,Vol.6. (Both publications are submitted with this paper as Reports on the results of the project.) The former publication includes two interviews, 14 papers and one bibliographical material (308 pp.), the last including two interviews and 19 papers (340 pp.). Both publications were sent to universities, libraries and institutions not only in Japan, but also overseas.     1) This study focuses on the changes of international relations in East Central Europe of post-communist era, in particular :(a) eastward expansion of NATO and/or the EU,(b) sub-regional cooperation (e.g.CEFTA) in Central Europe(c) bilateral relations (e.g.ethnic minority problems) in the region,(d) relations between foreign policy and domestic factors in each country.2) We had interviews with the persons in charge of this matter in the governments and political parties of the Central and East European countries and Russia..3) We collected materials on :(a) the parliamentary elections (June, 1996) and the Senate elections (November, 1996) in the Czech Republic ;(b) Referendum on accession to NATO in Slovakia (May, 1997)(c) the parliamentary elections in Poland (June, 1997)(d) Referendum on accession to NATO in Hungary (November, 1997)4) The main points of the study may be summarized as follows :(a) Although Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary have secured their position as the future members of NATO and the EU,there remain many domestic problems to be solved by the time they join in the organizations.(b) Slovak democracy is unstable.   • 拡大EU諸国における外国語教育政策とその実効性に関する総合的研究

    1. 平成18年度から20年度までに研究分担者が現地調査等により収集した最新のデータをもとに各国の言語教育政策と実効性の検証作業を東京外国語大学語学研究所との共催による研究集会で、合計13回行った。2. その他、研究分担者・研究協力者は研究期間3年間の間に、それぞれが関係する学会・研究会などで発表し論文として提出した。(下記、5.主な発表論文等を参照)一例として研究代表者富盛伸夫は平成20年11月15日外国語教育学会(於、東京学芸大学)などにおいて特別講演「ヨーロッパ連合(EU)における高等教育改編と言語教育政策の問題点について」と題し、「ボローニャプロセス」による高等教育制度改革の下で、言語教育政策と教育現場との諸問題について現地調査に基づいた報告を本研究プロジェクトの成果として行った。3. 上記の研究会の成果発表など主な資料を、本プロジェクトの研究報告書として印刷し公開した
