In this paper, we are interested in the initial-(non-homogeneous) Dirichlet boundary value problem for a multi-dimensional scalar non-linear conservation law with a multiplicative stochastic forcing. We introduce a notion of “renormalized” kinetic formulations in which the kinetic defect measures on the boundary of a domain are truncated. In such a kinetic formulation we establish a result of well-posedness of the initial-boundary value problem under only the assumptions (H1), (H2) and (H3) stated below, which are very similar ones in [6].

In this paper, we discuss the Cauchy problem for a degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equation with a multiplicative noise. We focus on the existence of a solution. Using nondegenerate smooth approximations, Debussche, Hofmanova and Vovelle [8] proved the existence of a kinetic solution. On the other hand, we propose to construct a sequence of approximations by applying a time splitting method and prove that this converges strongly in L-1 to a kinetic solution. This method will somewhat give us not only a simpler and more direct argument but an improvement over the existence result.

We study the problem about the existence of finite-dimensional invariant manifolds for nonlinear heat equations of the form
partial derivativeu/partial derivativetau = Deltau + F(u, delu) on Rd x [1, infinity).
We show that in spite of the fact that the linearized equation has continuous spectrum extending from negative infinity to zero, there exist Finite dimensional invariant manifolds which control the long time asymptotics of solutions. We consider the problem for these equations in the framework of weighted Sobolev spaces of L-p type. The L-p theory of this problem gives the L-infinity estimate of the long-time asymptotics of solutions under natural assumptions on the nonlinear term F and their initial data. The research has solved various problems in the theory and applications of viscosity solution theory, focusing on the basic theory of the comparison principle of solutions for differential and integral equations, unique existence and continuity of solutions, and applications to various asymptotic problems, optimal control, differential games, and geometric problems such as curvature flow, and has advanced the research on viscosity solution theory from both theoretical and applied perspectives. The results obtained have been used in natural science, engineering, society, and society. The results obtained are important as a fundamental theory for natural science, engineering, and social science.

A new general class of Lipschitz evolution operators in Banach spaces is introduced and a characterization of the continuous infinitesimal generators of such evolution operators is obtained. It is given a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a weakly continuously differentiable solution to an abstract Cauchy problem in Banach spaces. Nonlinear perturbations of a holomorphic semigroup of fractional growth is studied through investigation of the associated Cauchy problems. Studying discontinuous mappings on intervals satisfying certain assumptions, it is shown that for such mappings there exist periodic points of period. In a kinetic formulation, it is obtained a result of uniqueness and existence of the initial-bounary value problem for a scalar first-order conservation law with a multicative noise

The theory of the Cauchy problem for one-dimensinal n×n systems of conservation laws has evolved from a set of works by A. Bressan et al via the front tracking method. The argument developed there is, however, rather complex. In this research we restricted ourself to the case of one-dimensional 2×2 systems of conservation laws and succeeded to make clear the geometrical structure of shock curves for the Riemann problem (with initial data of step functions). Using the structure theory established here we gave a simple argument in the front trucking method and proved the existence of entropy solutions to general Cauchy problems. Besides, we obtained the comparison and existence of entropy solutions to nonlinear anisotropic degenerate parabolic equations with initial-boundary conditions

キネティック定式化理論はLions, Perthame, Tadmor (1994)を出発点として、非線形保存型（双曲型）方程式の解の存在・一意性・正則性・漸近挙動などの研究に大きく寄与し、進展してきた。最近、Debussche, Vovelle(2010)はこの理論を確率的ノイズ項を持つ保存型（双曲型）方程式に拡張し、解の一意性・存在性を論じたが、一意性と存在性の議論は互いに独立であるなどの部分を改良、開発すべき点が多くある。キネティック理論は保存型（双曲型）方程式の研究では有力なものであることは確かである。そのような背景から、キネティック理論の確率版を発展方程式論で得られている収束・近似理論的手法と確率論的手法を融合して構築し、ラフパスにより駆動された確率保存型方程式の解の構造を明らかにする研究を行った。より正確に述べると、有界領域上での確率保存型方程式に対する初期値・境界値問題の解の存在と一意性の理論、すなわち、well-posednessの研究をキネティック理論と発展方程式論において開発されている理論・方法を融合するという視点から、従来の確率論的主体ではなく実解析・測度論的に研究を行った。具体的には次の結果を得た。　確率保存型偏微分方程式に対する初期値・境界値問題du + div (A(u))dt = Φ(u)dW(t) in  Ω×D×(0,T)u(・,0)= u0(・)　　in Ω×D,u = ub  on Ω×∂D×(0,T)を考える。ここで、初期条件u0(・)は確率変数ωに依存してもよいが、境界条件ubは確率変数ωに依存しない関数である。この初期値・境界値問題に対してキネティック解を導入し、次のwell-posedness定理を得た。 定理.　Ｄをｄ次元ユークリッド空間におけるリプシッツ連続な境界をもつ有界な凸領域とする。このとき、Debussche-Vovelleが方程式の係数関数A(u),Φ(u)に仮定した通常の条件の下で、一意的なキネティック解を持つ。さらに、u1(t), u2(t)をそれぞれ初期条件u1,0,u2,0, 境界条件u1,b, u2,b に対応したキネティック解とすると、つぎの不等式が成り立つ。 E‖u1(t) – u2(t)‖L1(D) ≦　E‖u1,0 – u2,0‖L1(D)+ Mb∫‖u1,b(s)– u2,b(s)‖L1(∂D) ds, ここで、∫は[0,t]上の積分を表し、Mbはu1,b, u2,bの∂D×[0,T]上の最大値に依存した定数である。

１次元非線形２×２保存系に対するRiemann問題について、初期値が大きい場合の解の存在性の研究およびｎ次元空間における非線形放物型-双曲型（非線形退化放物型）方程式に対する初期値・境界値問題のエントロピー解の存在性、一意性、安定性、漸近挙動をkinetic formulation法（kinetic理論）を中心とし、実解析的、測度論的、関数解析的手法を用いて研究した。研究初年度である本年度は、これまでの研究を検討・整理し、新しい知見と結果の取得に重点をおいて、関連した研究集会において、資料と最新情報の収集を行った。研究成果については、１次元２×２保存系のRiemann問題の可解性については、１９６０年代後半から７０年代にかけてのSmoller-Johnsonによる一連の結果とBorovikov(１９７２)そしてKeyfitz-Kranzer（１９７８）による結果がある。本研究では、Smoller-Johnsonの証明に不備を見つけ、反例をもってそれを指摘し、さらに再証明を与えた。この証明方法は新しい手法を提示しており、これまでの知られた結果で仮定されていた“凸性”を取り除くことができた。もう一つの結果は、１９７０年代前半から後半にかけてのDafermosのRiemann問題の解の存在に関する一連の結果での証明方法を用いて非線形波動方程式を抽象化した保存則系の解の存在定理を得た。この結果は流束に関する仮定を緩和している。さらに、流束が狭義単調である場合の保存則系や粘性保存則系にも適用でき、今後において様々な非線形偏微分方程式にも応用されることが期待される。

We proved the uniqueness of entropy solutions of non- isotropic degenerate parabolic- hyperbolic equations with non homogeneous Dirichlet boundary value condition.Let Ω be an open bounded cube of Rｄ, with the boundary ∂Ω. Let QT = (0,T)×Ω, T> 0 and ΣT = (0,T)× ∂Ω. We consider the following problem (P): ∂t u + ∑i=1 ∂Ai (u) /xi – Σi,j=1 ∂2 βij (u)/∂xi∂xj = g in QT, u = ub on ΣT, u(0, ) = u0 in Ω,where u(t,x): QT → R $, is the unknown function and ub :ΣT → R ,g: QT → R are given functions. We assume that Ai(u): R → R is locally Lipschiz,the d×d matrix (β’ ij(u))) is symmetric, nonnegative and locally bounded. We have to explain the meaning of the boundary condition. In the nondegenerate case ( in which (β’ij(u)) is strictly positive) u = ub a.e. (t,x) in ΣT in the classical sense. In this case the problem (P) is of parabolic equation. However, the situation drastically changes for the completely degenerate case (in which β’ij(u) = 0 ). In this case the problem (P) becomes a first order hyperbolic equation . It is well known that discontinuous solution must be considerd and discontinuous weaqk solutions are not uniquely determined by their data.In this study we consider entropy solutions to the problem (P) and obtain the comparison theorem, which in particular deduces the uniqueness of entropy solutions of (P). The precise results will appear in the forthcoming paper.

非線形双曲型保存系研究および非線形退化放物型（双曲-放物型）方程式に対する初期値・境界値問題の非有界なエントロピー解について研究を行った。　非線形双曲型保存系については、２×２保存型方程式系のリーマン問題： u_t +f(u,v)_x=0, v_t +g(u,v)_x=0, 　 (u(x,0),(v(x,0)) = (u_0,v_0) (x 0　のとき),　を次の条件の下で考察した。条件：f, g は(f_v)(g_u) > 0 を満足する２回連続的微分可能な関数で、かつベクトル値関数F(u,v) = (f(u,v), g(u,v)) は、 (l_i)(∇^2 F(r_i,r_i)) > 0 , i, j = 1,2, 　を満足する。ここで l_j, r_jはそれぞれ F(u,v)のj-左固有関数、i-右固有関数である。次の結果を得た。定理．　λ_1(u,v) < λ_2(u,v) を F(u,v) の実固有値とする。このとき、任意のu-v平面の点P_0を出発点としショック速度をσ_i(u,v) とするショック曲線S_i(P_0)と逆ショック曲線S'_2(P_0)で次の安定条件(1)-(4)を満たすものが大域的に存在する。　 (1)λ_1(u,v)< σ_1(u,v) < min {λ_1(u_0,v_0),λ_2(u,v)}, (u,v) \in S_1(P_0)(2)λ_1(u_0.v_0)< σ_1(u,v) < min {λ_1(u,v),λ_2(u_0.v_0)}, (u,v) \in S’_2(P_0)(3)max{λ_1(u_0,v_0), λ_2(u,v)} < σ_2(u,v) < λ_2(u_0,v_0), \in S_2(P_0)(4)max{λ_1(u,v), λ_2(u_0,v_0)} < σ_2(u,v) < λ_2(u,v), \in S’_2(P_0) 退化放物型方程式の初期値・境界値問題については、これまでに知られているL^∞解に対する結果を、非有界なL1解に拡張する研究を行った。退化放物型方程式に対する初期値-境界値問題の有界なエントロピー解（L^∞解）に対する比較定理は、これまでは、比較定理より弱いL^1縮小性定理がCarrillo(1999)と Massia et al.(2002)等によって、Kruzkohの２変数法を用いて証明されていた。　本研究ではP.L. Lions等により開発されたkinetic formulation法を初期値-境界値問題に適用できるように改良し、それらの結果をL1の枠組みにおける（非有界な）エントロピー解に対する比較定理に拡張した。

Rnの開集合Uにおける対流項をもつ非線形楕円型方程式　b(u)-div{a(x,u,Du)+h(u)}=f　に対するDirichlet問題と、X(0,T)における非線形放物型方程式　ut-div{a(t,x,u,Du)+h(u)}=f　に対する初期値-境界値問題のL1理論の研究を行った。ここで、bは非減少関数、aはRnに値をとるCaratÉ　odory関数、hはR nに値をとる連続関数である。aはDuについての単調性とuについての増大度が仮定されているが、hについての増大度は仮定しない。これらの方程式は多孔性媒体における流体の研究、例えばダムの水の浸透問題などに現れる。　これらの方程式の解として、超関数解を採用すると一意性が成り立たない。そこで、この問題の本質は如何に適切に解を定式化するかである。本研究では、再正規化解(renormalized solotion)なる概念を採用して、解の存在と一意性を証明した。再正規化解はDiperna-LionsによってBoltzmann方程式の研究において導入された概念である。一方、É　;nilan等の研究者達は、エントロピー解なる概念を導入し、これらの方程式を研究しているが、本研究では、再正規化解とエントロピー解は同値であることも証明した。研究成果の発表：(1)再正規化解とエントロピー解の同値性について（早稲田大学教育学部学術研究-数学編- 1998年2月pp.17-23）;(2)Existence and uniqueness of renormalized solutions of degenerate quasilinear elliptic equations in L1 spaces (1998, submitted)
