This research aims to create a reading aloud program in secondary education level Japanese language classes, and a program for the training of teachers through the practice of this reading aloud program. The program is as follows :(1) Reading aloud program in secondary education level Japanese language classes-1.Development and implementation of program for education in modern poetry. 2.Development and implementation of program for education in the classics. 3.Development of a general study program for expressive skills in Japanese language classes.(2) Program for the training of teachers-1.Development and implementation of a teacher training program for instruction of pupils in reading aloud. 2.Development of a training program for the use of rakugo within teacher training. The above program are all carried out in 'Secondary education level Japanese language classes internship' and 'Practice of classroom techniques' courses of the teacher training program of Waseda University

　本研究については、以下の３点から作業を進めた。①東村山市にある高松宮記念ハンセン病資料館および全生園（ハンセン病の療養所）付属図書館所蔵の文学に関する文献調査②ハンセン病を扱った文学作品における女性表象の分析および女性表現者の提起する問題点の抽出③中等教育に供給しうる、総合的学習の時間に対応した教材の作成　まず、①についてであるが、高松宮記念ハンセン病資料館の調査をほぼ終了し、付属図書館の資料に着手することができた。付属図書館では、入園者の遺稿や図書の貸し出し実態調査など、新たに重要な局面も見えてきて、今後も調査を続行する予定である。　　次に②であるが、昨年度より北条民雄、明石海人、藤本としらの言説分析に加えて、園内の文学グループへの聞き取り調査を行い、ハンセン病とジェンダーを視座に、調査内容については、現在論文作成中であり、２００２年度の『学術研究』に執筆予定である。また、計画書で提示していた「北条民雄とその時代展」も２００３年秋の開催にむけて、全生園付属図書館の学芸員で元・患者さんである山下道輔さんとともに、準備を進めている。　③については、金井の作成したプランにしたがい、３年生のゼミ「特殊研究」において実地に実践しうるプログラムにするために、２００２年６月から７月にかけて大学生相互で授業実践を試み、その反応を踏まえて、２００２年度の『早稲田大学教育研究科紀要』に論文を執筆する予定である。

　2000年度の特定課題研究助成費を受けて、以下のことに着手した。① 戦後の女歌を、評論の視座から眺め返してみるために、『女人芸術』終刊号の「女性短歌関係年表」を基にしながら、女歌に言及した評論を網羅的に収集・分析した。ことに、新憲法のもとで、女歌に詠み込まれた「母性」についての捉え方にどのような変化があったかについて、重点的に調査・分析を行った。そこで、昭和20年代後半の五島美代子への評価と中城ふみ子への評価がこの問題を考察する際の重要ポイントであることを確認し、同時代の女性をめぐる言説－新聞・雑誌メディア－と相互関連させて論じる準備を整えた。② 戦後の女歌のなかでも、ジェンダー／セクシュアリティの双方から考えてエポック・メイキングな位置を占める、中城ふみ子の『乳房喪失』を論じる準備として、資料が集中する帯広市立図書館を訪問し（2001年３月21～23日）、資料の収集にあたった。資料が膨大なため、2001年夏にもまた、同図書館を訪問する予定である。③ 北海道在住の中城ふみ子研究家でもある佐々木啓子氏（先行文献を収集した『中城ふみ子研究資料集』あり）とも連絡をとりあって、〈母性〉をキー・コンセプトに提携して研究を進めることとなった。④ 調査・考察の結果は斎藤美奈子編『近代文学と読者（仮題）』（岩波書店、2002年前半刊行予定）に執筆の予定である。
