After this I summarize Kinoshita’s play Twilight Crane. Then I will refer to the composer of the opera Twilight Crane Dan Ikuma, who added music to Kinoshita’s play without changing a word of the play. Furthermore, I will explain the taboo of “Don’t look” which is very important for the understanding of Twilight Crane, another folktales, operas and myths. Moreover, the socio-historical context of the play Twilight Crane, i.e. the libretto of the opera Twilight Crane, will be considered, and I will conclude with this consideration my presentation.

Furhtermmore, I attended conferences on opera studies in Ireland, England, USA and Italy. Through various lectures, I could investigate the latest trends of research in opera films. In addition, I carried out the investigations of the locations of opera films "Don Giovanni" and "Carmen in Italy and Spain. As concrete results of my research during 3 years there are oral presentations, papers, reports and a book. Furthermore, I was the leader of the "Socrate"-Project and made an investigation of opera-staging which will contribute to research in the direction of opera films.

    2023

     View Summary

    2023

     View Summary

    2022

     View Summary

    2021

     View Summary

    2020

     View Summary

    2019

     View Summary
