現在、主に以下の二つのテーマについて研究している。
1. 芸術研究、文化人類学、思想研究を横断するアプローチから、中国現代芸術を社会実践と文化批判として捉え、その意義を考察している。
2. 近年は、比較の視点から、東アジアの現代芸術における脱植民的想像力について研究を進めている。
