I presented my current research project titled “Job Search,Job Findings and the Role of Unemployment Insurance History” to the following invitedtalks, workshops and international conferences: University of Tokyo, National University of Singapore, OsakaUniversity, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS),Australasian Search and Matching Workshop (UNSW), Asia-Pacific Search andMatching Virtual Workshop (discussant), The Canon Institute for Global StudiesMacroeconomics Conference (Tokyo), Annual Meeting of the Central Bank ResearchAssociation (Federal Reserve Bank of New York/Columbia University)(discussant), The Econometric Society Australasian Meeting (UNSW), Asian Meetingof the Econometric Society (Nanyang Technological University), Asia-PacificSearch and Matching Summer In-Person Workshop (Tokyo) (discussant). My project received many useful and instructive comments andsuggestions during my presentation sessions from these conferences. I had laterused them to improve and revise my draft for this project, particularly the estimationpart, so that it will be appropriate to be submitted for the consideration ofpublication at a high-impact journal afterwards.  Additionally, I have also worked on a related researchproject titled “The Impact of Unemployment Insurance Extensions on theCyclicality of Labour Force Participation” with Ran Gu who is an assistant professor ineconomics at the University of Essex and a research scholar at the Institute ofFiscal Studies. In this project, we study how unemployment insurance extensionsmay affect the decisions of workers to enter the labour force under a generalequilibrium setup.
