    For many years, supply performance of goods to demand sites has been analysed, designed and improved by various ways such as Heijunka concept and methodology. Basic structure of this approach is, in general, to adapt demand speed and fluctuation by managing work-in-progress. This research, taking electricity supply operations on the smart-grid platform as the objective system, examines its performance for identifying the way to stable supply. Performance analysis is examined by simulation experiments with the proposed model and obtained results suggest that Heijunka of power supply is realised in time-domain by storage batteries.

    Compositional dependency of all-optical light helicity-dependent magnetic switching (AO-HDS) in ferromagnetic GdFeCo alloy is presented. It is found that AO-HDS is associated with the collinear sub-lattice magnetization and not with the net magnetization. An explanation of the AO-HDS based on magnetic circular dichroism exactly matches the above features of experiments.

    In conventional magneto-optical (MO) recording which triggered with nanoseconds pulsed laser irradiation, the time scale of heat-up and cool-down process depends on thermal diffusion property in multilayered recording media. The speed limits of heating and cooling process are important issue for fast heat assisted magnetic recording. Femtosecond pulsed laser light allow excitation of magnetic systems much shorter than the time scale of thermal diffusion. In this study, we investigated the film structure dependence of ultrashort laser-induced demagnetization of 20 nm thick GdFeCo alloy films, under the variety of with / without intermediate dielectric layer and heat sink layer. After the laser excitation, we found two time region from magnetic behavior: rapid step-like reducing process of magnetization and following recovering process with precessional motion. The time scale of first rapid step-like demagnetization processes is conformed as within picoseconds range for all the cases.

    Conventional pure magnetic recording schemes have a serious and unavoidable problem known as the ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) limit. Here we demonstrate a fast precessional switching via interplay of ultrafast heating by ultrashort pulse laser and large temperature dependency of magnetic resonance. In ferrimagnetic GdFeCo, when the temperature approaches the angular momentum compensation point T-A, both frequency of FMR mode and the Gilbert damping parameter increase significantly. High-speed and strongly damped precessional switching was triggered with ultrafast heating of a Gd24.5Fe66.1Co9.4 across its magnetization compensation point T-M up to T-A, under a static applied magnetic field. To initiate and investigate the magnetization reversal, we have used an all-optical pump-probe technique employing an amplified Ti: sapphire laser system with 90 fs pulses. In particular, following the laser excitation with low pump fluence (0.9 mJ/cm(2)) the magnetic system relaxes back toward initial state while the rather high pump fluence (3.3 mJ/cm(2)) excitation induces a metastable opposite magnetic state. After the sudden heating which causes just 30% reduction of magnetization at first breakdown, consequently magnetization was started to rotate across M-z = 0 within 6 ps during first precession and finished the high damped precessional motion within few cycles into opposite direction.     In recent years, it is difficult to meet the demand of logistics industry due to increasing of the number of handled packages and shortage of truck drivers. In this study, we examined deepening the optimization problems from production, shipping and delivering products to customers, which have been studied individually. Moreover, we proposed and analyzed the multi-stage optimization models which integrate them for realizing overall optimization.
    On the other hand, building, improving and management of supply chain is an important issue in various industries not only production and logistics industry. Therefore, we also examined the transfer of supply chain designing and improving technology in production and logistics industries to other fields.

    近年、ライフスタイルの多様化や電子商取引の急速な普及により、物流業界で取り扱われる荷物量は増大の一途を辿っている。一方で、業界におけるトラックドライバーの不足は深刻であり、サプライチェーンの改善・効率化が強く求められている。しかし、現実の問題は一般に、多段階・多目的最適化となるのみならず、需要など各要素に多くの不確実性が存在し、モデル化し数理的な最適解を得ることが困難なだけでなく、その有効性も限定される。本研究では、サプライチェーンの多段階・多目的最適化問題について、その構成要素である各段階の最適化問題を中心に、不確実性を考慮したモデルの構築とその解法について検討を行った。

    地球温暖化や化石燃料枯渇の対策として、太陽光発電をはじめとした再生可能エネルギーの普及が求められているが、その発電量は天候などの自然環境に依存するため、蓄電設備の充放電による供給力の平準化が必要となる。一方、各国で無排出ガス車規制の導入が行われつつあり、内燃機関を動力とする従来型の自動車から電気自動車(EV)等へのシフトが急速に進むと考えられる。EVの充電は、車両を利用しないときに、走行に必要な分を上回るだけ行う必要があるが、急速充電設備や電力需要の平準化などの制約を考慮する必要がある。本研究では、不確実性を有するこれらの各課題について、モデルの構築と解法の検討を行った。
